Lots of Hatching Activity

After what seemed to be a slow start to the hatching season, there’s suddenly lots of activity on Holden Beach. Four nests boiled (hatched) this week and several others have depressions indicating hatching under the sand. The warmer temperatures likely contributed to the recent hatchings and with the forecast calling for continued highs in the upper 80’s to low 90’s we should see more this week!
