And then there was one (nest)!

Nest 17 boiled last night after everyone had left. The team will close this nest on Friday. This leaves us with one nest on Holden Beach. Nest # 19. It was collared and set up last night. The adoption team will be watching this nest until it hatches. What we know about nest #19---it was laid on August 9 at 359 OB (west). The 34 eggs were moved a few houses west. It's "due date" is Friday October 3---but we know that the last nest of the season always takes longer---due to the colder temperatures.
