NOW 9 Nests!

Been a pretty eventful week, since the last report, just 5 days ago, we have had 6 new nests and 10 more false crawls. This brings us to a total of 9 nests so far this year. All have needed to be moved except nest #7—we call it a natural nest---the mother laid it in a safe location and we just marked it and placed a fox cage on it to protect it. In the 8 nests we’ve moved we know the mothers have laid 1001 eggs. The number of eggs in nest #7 is unknown because we didn’t dig it up to count the eggs.
