Well it is August 20th and turtles have been popping out all over. Nest 8 was closed out with 118 babies to the water, nest 9 had 126 babies, nest #10 had 75 , nest #11 had 106, #12 had 110 and #13 had 116 go to the water. We have had the last Turtle Talk for this year on the 18th with record crowds. We would like to thank everyone that came out to turtle talk. We want to give a special thanks to the town for letting us use the town hall. I would like to thank all the volunteers that helped with the turtle talk presentation and those that volunteered to sell t-shirts. All these volunteers made this turtle talk season a huge success. We still have many nests to hatch so if you are coming to the beach look for us on the beach (we will be in the red shirts that say Holden Beach Turtle Patrol) we enjoy your company and questions.
